Beth (Wolf) Halsted Aunt Peewee September 30, 2008

Aunt Peewee,

There are so many things that I loved about you Your spunkieness & awnryness. You remind me so much of myself & my goofy sister (Tina) I remember when we would go out to  Grandpa & Granny's farm in Germantown... Oh how we (loved) it there & how we couldn't wait to see you all. And the family reunions were so nice because we got to see the whole clan of family. I know we didn't see you much, But God know's how very special & loved you are by us all... You are in heaven with God & Granny, Grandpa,Uncle Richard & Uncle Bill.. How they are all missed too. And you are there with my mother Michele (Songer)Wolf singing & dancing with Elvis Presley My mom loved him dearly too.. I love you Aunt Peewee... And I will see you again..

Sandi (Nick) Sister September 29, 2008

My Sister

The phrase that comes to mind is "God made us sisters: our hearts made us best friends". I've never had a friend as close as we were. I will always treasure the many memories we shared. Our passion was fishing, we spent hours on the lake, we watched many sunrises and sunsets on the water. My sister was a unique person who never pretended to be someone she wasn't, if she had something to say, she said it, and I always admired this about her.

She didn't care what others did: it made no difference to her, unless it hurt someone she cared about. She stuck up for what she believed in. She was a very pround person.

I will miss her dearly, but I know

God needed a special angel for a good reason.

                         Love, Sandi

a loving family member Love to all who were blessed to know Janet D. Wolf September 29, 2008

Well no matter what name you were called we all knew we could count on you. Though there were times you seemed "crabby" and unapproachable you were truly a softie at heart. Well as much as you liked dressing as a witch I am sure now that you have your angel wings. God may let you "dress up" as a witch Oct. 31st your favorite day of the year. You were truly ONE OF A KIND and will live on in our hearts forever. Your presence will surely be missed by us all. Sure hope the family will start getting closer now, as we all should have been all along.  Because as they say life is much too short. Take care all and love one another as your Aunt, Sister, Friend, Grandma, Mom would. In loving memory of one terrific lady - God bless all

Kandy Jane Gone but NEVER forgotten September 28, 2008

Aunt Peewee,

You were always nice to me. They all called you witch, but i could never understand why. I will never forget when I first got my license and I went with you and the girls somewhere and they begged you to let me drive us all to your house. Without hesitation you said "sure".  LOL  You will  live on in my memories. You are the BEST!! Love, Kandy Jane

Kenny Halloween September 27, 2008

I have many memories of Aunt Weep, but my favorite are definitely the Halloweens we all spent together. Every year I remember going to Aunt Nick’s for Halloween, seeing everyone and then going trick-or-treating. When we got back the best part of Halloween began, Aunt Weep led us in different games that would predict our futures, answer our questions, and even detect ghosts (that was my favorite, if an acorn popped when you threw it in the fire, it meant there were spirits around)! And every year there were new games and new costumes, I looked forward to it every year, and she never let me down. Even last year she showed up with orange spots on her head! I have always looked forward to Halloween more so than any other holiday, and I think I have my aunt to thank for that. It’s still my favorite, but I know it won’t be the same without her, but for some reason, I think those acorns are definitely going to pop this year!!

Jamie Lynn My Aunt Weep September 26, 2008

I'm am honored to be your neice and "another Weep" Thank you for the plant....I hope it does well...I call it my Weep plant!! You know, I never knew why everyone called you Weep...it wasn't too long ago I learned your name was Janet!! LOL!! I wish I would of had the chance to ask you, why they called you that!! You taught me life is short...and I need to get closer to my family....I'm sorry this happened to you. I'm sorry I didn't make an effort to be part of the Wolf family, so my son could of enjoyed you too....he would of loved you too.
